When I volunteer with Laru Beya Collective, I am constantly reminded of my adolescence. This Far Rockaway organization reminds me of the joy the ocean brings as I mentor young groms and first time surfers.

Imprinted with an image of a young girl who in my dreams is also me. Placed this fluid whimsical universe of sea. This quilt features scrap fabric from curtains and plastic netting from fruit packaging.
